The 300 ha on the river is not fenced and is used as a corridor pathway for the elephants in the area.  The balance of 4 000 ha is fenced with a double electrified fence and hosts plains game including Oryx, Zebra, Bluewildbeest, Kudu, Impala, Eland, Redhartbeest and Waterbuck. 

The 4 000 Ha is undulating with kopjes, riverine and Acacia, Leadwood, Marula and Mopani mixed woodlands.
